Bill of lading - Changes as per new regulations only for one country

Hi All,

Currently we are using same BOL format for US , Canada and Mexico . I mean , output type, program and smartform are one and same for all the three countries. Now as per new transportation regulations in US, We have to make changes to BOL of US specifically.

How do we achieve this as we have been using same output type, program and smartform for all the three countries so far.

why don't you create a new output type copying from exisiting (which relates your current BOL) and adjust the new one for US...

p.s. it would be also a new program + smartform which linked to the new output type...(copy and adjust them as well)

Hi ,

This is possible that you maintained Same Output,One Program but different Smartforms where based on the Country it will call the specific Smartforms.

We have done kind of same think in our Output program.Not having any issue till now.

Is there any drawback of implement the same?
