I just installed SAP Manager 7.1 with the latest SP.   I'm in the process of trying to download the latest SP for our Netweaver 7.01 servers.

I notice that some components are at the approval list under my download basket.

Can some one please show me how to approve this download list using my newly installed Solution Manager 7.1? 

Do I need to run the basic setup configuration first?

The best way to do is using Maintenance Optimizer (MOPZ) on you Solution manager, if you have not made basis configurations to use MOPZ, follow

OR

Create an OSS support message under component SV-SMG-MAI-APR to get the download basket approval.

This would depend on how quick SAP approve you request.

Helllo SCC Man,

If You have maintained SAP-OSS connection in SM59 and put proper S-user in tcode AISUSER go to SE37 an run FM /TMWFLOW/MO_UI_BASKET_AUTHORIZ put sap-oss for 'I_OSS_RFC' field and run FM. After a while you should see new window with components which should be approved.

Go to solman_workcenter tab 'Change Management'  and see the movie to approve files:

Create a new maintenance for SP for Netweaver 7.01 system and then you should be able to approve.

BTW - Always give meaningful title than hello gurus..
