Hi Experts,

Can I use DGP2 to have DG regulatory info instead of using "Filling Functionality"-which gets my DG info from Spec data base into DG master?

We have only few countable materials which are DG relevant. So wondering if we really need to use filling functionality.

Please through light on the process..as well advantages and disadvantages.

HI Viveka,

SAP specified the easiest way to fill the DG master by using the "Filling Functionality".

For example - you have couple of regulations to be maintained for that material, filling is the easiest way to do that by depending on Substance work bench data, rather than filling it manual.

One of the most disadvantage here -

If some others used the filling functionality, DGP2 manual entries will be over written.

Hi Viveka,

So you want to fill the DG Master manually through DGP2? If so, I don't really see the point since the automatic filling is a lot faster, even if it is only done for few materials.
