Praveen,

It depends upon the query and the structure of the destination transaction. It doesn't always work for all queries. Try this:

1.  SQ00 select query

2.  Goto > Report Assignment.

3.  Select the Red Plus ("Insert Row") Icon at the bottom of the popup

4. At the bottom of the new popup, select 'Other Report type'

5.  Select 'TR' Transaction

6.  Enter the transaction code (VA03)

7.  OK (Green check) > Save > then save the query.

I did this too but it only works if Query area is standard. It is not working in global query area. Why is it so? Is this functionality only for standard query area? Please update although the thread is closed.

MoazzaM,

I don't know the answer to your questions.  I never create any queries except in the 'Standard' area.

How you transport your standard area Query report from DEV to PRD server? Standard area report can not be transported. They are are created directly on PRD.

MoazzaM,

I don't recall ever having a problem with transports of Queries and Infosets.

Are you using the standard Transport Query Tool RSAQR3TR?

YEs im using this tool to transport but it was not transporting query created standard area. Then i copied it to global and this tool  RSAQR3TR allowed to transport it.

MoassaM,

As I said, I have never had any problems transporting Queries/Infosets.  I don't know why you are having a problem.  Maybe you should speak to your basis people....

You can also use download > upload with this tool, and bypass Transport altogether, if you can't make transport work to your satisfaction.

I recommend closing the thread here and posting the query in ABAP forum to get response.
