I am looking for Links/file contains information about Idoc Monitoring Aspects through SAP Solution Manager.

Need to understand the Pros and cons of this approach.

in SAP Help Portal - there are a large number of articles dealing with CCMS monitoring of IDocs.  Most are separated by Inbound or Outbound.

We're just digging into this right now ourselves, and the main advantage at least for us (beside using a Standardized SAP approach) - appears to be the ability to tie into the workflow resolution, ITSM / Change Management and also tracking for Management Dashboards.
