Hello.
In our SAP Development system, when we go to SMGW, we are seeing around 110 active connections. When we go to Goto -> Logged on clients, we are seeing around 300 connections including these 110 connections. So these 190 extra connections, why are they not showing in Active connections? Is there anyway to identify more details about these logged in clients.
Regards,
Ram.
Hi Ram,
This just means there are around 110 active connections. 300 is the number of logged on clients. This number includes active connections and other connections not yet closed.
The interval in which gateway connections are closed is determined by parameters like gw/close_routes, gw/conn_disconnect, gw/keepalive etc.
I personally don't think this is a reason to panic and change parameter settings. What you have reported is quite normal.
