Where can I fix MSHOST ?

Hi all!

When I call the report in BI BEx Web, get the following error:

Connect to message server host failed

Connect_PM TYPE = B MSHOST = myhost.mydomain.com GROUP = PUBLIC R3NAME = BP1 MSSERV = sapmsBP1 PCS = 1

ERROR partner 'myhost.mydomain.com: sapmsBP1' not reached

Where can I change the MSHOST?

Files jcoDestinations.xml and saprfc.ini not used.

Hi,

Ensure below entry in /etc/hosts

BP1_server_IP          myhost.mydomain.com

and /etc/services

sapmsBP1     36XX (XX = system number)

The files  /etc/hosts  and   /etc/services   is correct.

Have you checked if there are any errors in BI Diagnostic and support desk tool?

Incorrectly set to MSHOST. Where it comes from - that's the question? Where to fix it?
