How to make storage location mandatory at sales order level?

We have business requirement to mark storage location as mandatory field for sales order punched in some specific sales area. Please let me know how to make storage location mandatory at order level for a specific sales areas only?

            Did you try with Determine picking Location ,this will Automatically pick the storage location without user intervention based on Shipping point-plant-sc-storagelocation.

Hi Hema,

You can go for Incomplete log for sales document item.But if you have already tried that as you told for a specific sales area then you have go for some enhancement provided you do not have the different Item Category then you can have different item Incomplete log.

MALA		Shipping point / plant / storage condition
RETA		Plant / situation (SITUA) / storage condition

These are the common Rules for Storage Location Determination.You can Create your own one if all the standard procedure does not satisfy your requirement.

Check user exit USEREXIT_SOURCE_DETERMINATION in program MV45AFZB to populate the plant/storage location details. Alternatively try with exit USEREXIT_CHECK_VBAP in the same program, if you just want to populate error/warning message.

Hi,

We can use Storage Location as Mandatory in Sales Order by Incompletion Procedure but Specific Sales Area that will not working. I think, you can prefer/go for User Exit in Order Level.
