Configuring End User Login Application

Hello,

We are currently on GRC 10.0 and have a requirement to enhance the standard End User Login (GRAC_UIBB_END_USER_LOGIN) and have a requirement to enhance the standard End User Login application.  application. We need to add the Work Inbox and Delegation Links to this standard End User application. I did some research and found that the End user application is a stand alone design in webdynpro and does not come from any of the launchpads.

1) Is this Configurable or what is the way to add / remove additional links to this application?

2) Another requirement is we are not going to have this application in Portal but will be a standalone application. The users should be authenticated with the LDAP User ID and Password. All users in the organization will be part of the LDAP but may not necessarily be in the GRC system.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Thanks,

Nagarajan.

Hi Nagarajan,

This logon pad enables endusers without an account on the grc box to access some basic functionality. Instead of logging in directly this service is connected to an "anonymous" user with authorizations to preform basic functions in GRC. The enduser can authenticate as you write against a LDAP source.

Maybe it is possible to add your functionality. Check this thread: http://scn.sap.com/thread/3254373 A more standard solution would be that approvers that needs the inbox (and approver delegation) logs in directly at http://<server>:<port>/nwbc . However, the authentication is against the backend and not against LDAP. Check if this solution would work for you.

Kind Regards,

Vit
