Removing range in characterestic value

Dears

Pls see below step i was in stuck and expect some tips to move further

I was created a characteristic by using CT04 and in value tab give range as 0 - 100

and created a MIC with reference to above characteristic

and it is assign in inspection plan and it working fine

Now business want to remove range from the MIC so system should accept all value during RR

For this i done following step

remove the value in change mode of CT04

but in MIC i was not able re remove the value..system is asking upper limit and lower limit as mandatory

Pls tell me how to remove the value in this case as reference characteristic

1.If you are using class char to trasfer result to Batch ,then

     -Make change in CT04

     -Create New MIC with reference to this change

     -asssign same in the task list by removing original one !

2.If class char is not used for trasfer result to Batch ,then directly visit the Task list >unlock MIC from edit  > remove the limits & save.
