CAT2 recording with UOM in days

Hi all,

I need to record time sheet data of the employee in Unit days against WBS element using cat2, I understand it is not the standard process.

But still do i have any options?

Discussion in the forum suggest for change of Code.But i wanted to know do we have any standard Customizing options to use UOM for recording cat2 data in DAYS.

User exists stated by you will not serve my purpose as i wanted to record the data in day itself. i don't want to Supplement or Validate the recorded data.

I think standard customizing option is not available to use UOM for recording CAT2 data in DAYS.

You can contact SAP for further information.

Hi Srikanth,

when you enter a WBS you can chose the unit you want to enter your time and you can choose Days...

is this enough for you or you need Daysby default?

There are a lot posts related to it is only possible enter time in H, but this is mandatory only for notifications ( I mean when the object is a  network / activity )

Hi Sara,

If you choose to enter days as UOM in cat2 (other than hrs), system will except but data is uploaded with quantity as zero against quantity (cathours field) across the related tables ( CATSCO, CATSDB, COEP) and quantity which we have entered is uploaded against a other field called number.

This is also reflected in reports. So problem is here.Do you have any suggestion for this?
