Capacity adjustment in SNP

Experts,

    In our scenario, for one section Friday is a holiday and we cannot treat that day for calculation,ie,we cannot consider Friday for capacity calculation and if the production end date is falling in to this day,SNP should postponed to satuday in the system. How to manage it, can SNP manage it?

Hi Vijesh,

You can maintain a calendar with holidays and off dates that can be assigned to plant location master as production calendar (calendars - tab). SNP refers this calendar to schedule the planned orders. If there is a requirement on Friday, that will be transferred to next available bucket i.e. Saturday. This impacts all the resources at a given location.

If you wish to control a particular resource, then you have to define a suitable capacity variant. Pl check the following link for details.
