Solution Manager's Maintainance Optimizer

Hi,

We had Solution Manager 4.0 / Support Package 9 (SAPKB70009, SAPKA70009) ST 400 level 8 (SAPKITL418).

Is it possible to configure Maintenance Optimizer? Or shall we need to import SP10?

I went to OSS # 1024932, I am trying to configure Maintenance Optimizer , but I could not able to see Setup Maintenance Optimizer option under Transaction SPRO -> SAP Reference IMG -> SAP Solution Manager Implementation Guide -> SAP Solution Manager -> Basic Settings

Please guide me, if I am wrong. Also If possible please tell me step by step OR relevant OSS notes to get Maintenance Optimizer.

Hi Srinivas,

You can configure Maintainance Optimizer with SP9 in solution manager 4.0.

1)Just follow SAP Notes 997780 & 990534

2) SPRO: change status profile for user status

SAP Solution Manager> Scenario Spesific Settings> Change Request Mgt>

Extended Configuration> Change Transaction> Transaction types> Status Administration> Change Status profile for user status.

Copy SLMO0001 to SLMO0002 set the language EN.

Thanks for your reply. I went through OSS 997780 and 990534. But I am not clear from where I have to start to setup Optimizer. Can you please explain me 1 and 2 steps?

Also one more thing Praveen. As I said that support package ST at level 8 (SAPKITL418). Shall we have to import higher support package to config Optimizer? Basically in OSS #990534 the minimum support package ST mentioned as SAPKITL419 (i.e higher one level higher than our ST support package level)

Hi Srinivas,

In the First step you will import Solution Manager maintenance optimizer: BC set in from Note - 990534 -in T - Code SCPR20 as per the note instructions.

Second point explained clearly in my previous answer ( Navigation Path in T- Code SPRO)

Shall we can import randomly ? or any sequence I should follow to make import successfully?

I forgot to ask one thing, in OSS#990534, there was theree support packages for ST SAPKITL19, SAPKITL20 and SAPKITL21. Shall we have to import all three ? Same OSS had 4 correcttions and one zip file, we have to apply all these ?

Please correct me, If I am wrong.
