Hi,
While selecting Tcodes in "Authorisation Data" of ERM for role creation, when I click on search tab , error comes as
" Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon)".
Although I have given correct user id and passowrd.
I have checked the connection in the Configuration->System tab, and it is showing as Connection successful.
I searched for the related forums, but could'nt find the answer.
Please help.

Hi Rohini,
In most of the cases it has been seen that the error is because of the missing authorization.
There is one more consulting note available which talks about the same error.
Please follow note # 1528547.

Hi Rohini,
Please try the simple test:
Login in the backend system with the same userid and password which you have provided for the backend connection. And try to create the role there.
In case there is issue with user id authorization you will get the to know by this test.
