Inconsistency in Address management > Action Being terminated. While creating a company code

Hi All,

We have received a probelm which we are not able to resolve.

While creating a new company code in EC01; or from SPRO. It gives below error

"Inconsistency in address management -> action being terminated

Message no. ECOP003

The exception 'database error' was triggered by function module 'ADDR_MEMORY_SAVE'

This indicates an inconsistency in address management. This inconsistency must be analysed by SAP support.

We have raised a high priority message to SAP as well. Awaiting response. Could you please help on this urgent issue if someone has come across such problem in past.

Hi All,

We got a solution from SAP. We ran report from note 445575. Upon this we came to know that the current number range was lower than the high number range. We changed the same in SA01 to make cyrrent number range higher than high number range and the error was gone
