Problem with RFC data service

Hello All,

we are on CE 7.3

I have created a very simple VC model with R3 Data Service. I can test it in VC fine.I the data source configuration in VC, the system alias is "XXX".

On NWA Destination view, I have created an RFC destination "XXX", which is pinging succesfully.

But when running my model and calling this RFC in runtime, I am getting the following errors:

Error in getting the connection Could not get connection for alias XXX. Contact your system administrator.

Error occurred while executing the service: Could not get connection to the backend XXX

Am I missing some configuration step? Or maybe I need to clean some caches?

The issue you are facing seems to be specific for you. The best way to solve it is to open an OSS ticket.

Hi,

are you able to see the connection in VC? Are you able to test your dataservice in designtime?

Also you may check the default trace to see whether there is a more specific error.

Does it work well in design time?

Could you drag the service to the storyboard and test it overthere?
