SAP exchange config

Dear gurus

                 I had configure scot with ms exchange .Mails from sap sent regularly  but sometime following error occur 'Message cannot currently be transferred to node SMTP due to connection error' . in SOST it take more time to sent .I wants to reduce time. At present sap mail background job is 5 min.

Hi Sahil Kumar,

I believe this issue was related to some temporary drop in the connection between the SAP system and the mailserver. The job runs for along time as it keeps attempting to resend these mails that are in the send queue.

can you also check the  note :

1171502 - Error when sending e-mails using the ICM SMTP Plug-in

Maybe have a look and see if it helps with your issue here, there is a parameter that can be set that should help. Please note that the parameter should be set in the profile instance.

I think you need tp apply the SAP Note No. 1766890.

Thanks a lot. but my issue is not send 1 mail multiple time. issue is mails are sent successfully sometime it could not. I have to resend it from SOST.
