Solution Manager 7.1 CHARM approval and Change Doucument

We have solution Manager 7.1, and configured the standard Incident Management along with Change Request Management.

The problem is that the change manager can not accept the change request .What job roles are required by the change manager to approve the CR??

Demo Snapshot: ( i am unable to find this action when change manager edit the CR)

Secondly when we try to add an urgent change document in Change Request Scope it added SDHF( Urgent Preliminary Correction) type document instead of SMHF. How can we add a SMHF type document?

Dear Gurus,

please help me out to solve the issue. when I create Request for change(SMCR) after changing th e status to release for approval next status has to be approved.And it will be selected from the dropdown list in approval tab.But my dropdown list is empty please find the screenshot of the same.

Hi Sajin,

Above is the SAP bug , issue is due to standard profile IT000003 is missing in the system, please follow the below note procedure or copy the IT000003 profile from other solman system.

Note 1575201 - Request for Change: Approval Procedure activities missing.

Hi,

In 7.1 version, for approval there is not action , approval work flow will take care of it.

So goto Approval block shown below screen , approve and save it.

Hi,

Once you validate the change request you have the action "" Release for Approval.

Now you can approve the CR as a change manager.

For the scope, check the 'Copy Control Tran type' whether S(Z)MCR is mapped to SMHF correctly.

I am uable to find the action "Validate Change Request", when as change manager i edit the CR, in action tab it only gives option to reject the request.

Furhter i have not copied the transaction to ZMCR, how can i check if my SMCR is mapped to SMHF??

how can i make sure that a smhf to be created as urgent correction?

we activated the BC set SOLMAN40_SDEST*, and now i cant find the transaction type smhf, please find the screenshot for my copy Control Rules for CRM Web UI
