SRM PO EDIT button missing

Former Member

Hi All,

We are on SRM 7.0 Extended Classic scenario. We are trying to edit a PO but the EDIT button is missing when we open the PO as well as in the UWL.

The PO was created for a Vendor marked as "Do NOT Use', which should have not happened as the system does not allow to process POs to vendors marked as Do Not Use. And now we want to delete the line item in the PO and cancel it.

Also this PO was never replicated to ECC. There is no workflow lock on the PO.

Please suggest how to correct this.

Thanks,

Iti

Hi Iti,

The PO can be edited after the PO is being posted in the backend system.

Do the below and check for the Errors on the document.

SE37 > BBP_PD_PO_TRANSFER_EXEC > give the PO GUID and then transfer the PO.

Check if the PO is posted in the backend system.

If the PO is posted in the backend then the PO would be available for editing. If the PO is not posted in the backend system then check the Alerts , you should be able to find the error related to the document.

Correct the error and then try pushing the PO once again.

Hope this helps.

Let me know if you face any further issues on this.

Hi Pratap,

Can you please provide the information for below questions?

1. R u trying to access the PO via Net weaver portal ? or you are using portal independent navigation (i.e. HTML net weaver portal)

2. If you are accessing the PO via NW portal, then did you check the roles in both SRM & NW portal for that user ?

3. Please confirm whether the problem is with one particular PO or for all SRM PO's you are not finding edit option?

Regards,

Govardhan
