Making System Dropdown Mandatory in Select Roles Window

Hello Gurus,

We have a requirement to make the system dropdown field mandatory before doing a search. Is this Configurable?

I also have another question regarding these dropdown values - where are these values configured and is it possible to default to any other dropdown value instead of the listed below?

Hi All,

Figured it Out. This is being implemented as part of the WD application. To add additional dropdown value you will have to enhance a BADI. To make it mandatory enhance the WD component DoSearch Method.

Please fin below the details -

SAP Note: 1584230 ( Access Request Role Selection/Search screen BADI)

BADI Name: BADI_GRAC_ADDNL_SEARCH_CRIT

WD Component Name: GRAC_ROLE_BROWSE_COLLECT (Enhance the dosearch method to read the WD Context values to find if the system dropdown is empty or not and display the message)
