Use of PMEVC and CUMODEL

Hello All,

I was exploring various options in VC, created super BOM and super routing with object dependencies. Configuration simulation done in CU50.

In the SAP material, I could see the transactions PMEVC and CUMODEL.

I understand CUMODEL is just to display the whole content of the configuration, the BOM, routing, classes, dependencies etc. Is this correct?

In PMEVC also i could see simialr things, while pressing the "test" button it simply goes to CU50 simulation mode. Is there any other specific use for this transaction PMEVC? Can we add/ save anything in PMEVC?

PMEVC is a transaction used in modeling enviorment, when we use Knowledge bases, iPPE etc.

It also have a feature to simutale using CU50.

What abt CUMODEL, any specific use other than displaying all related items of the configurable amterial?

Its a report for program RCUMODEL, when you execute CUMODEL , on very first screen you can see the blue icon for information , it will provide you in detail information about this report.
