Hi Vivek,

SAP global HOST Preparation

is the steps which creates the folder such as

usr\sap\SID\SYS\UC\NTAMD64

where the kernel will be placed during install and accessed from the CI and DB

You run this on the CI host

Global Host is the Host Where SCS and ASCS instances are installed. They contain message server and enque for ABAP and Java

Hi Vivek,

The guides at

http://service.sap.com/instguides

->SAP NetWeaver

         ->SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (2004s)

               -> Installation

                    -> Installation Guide - SAP NetWeaver 7.0 including EHP 2 (or whichever you want to install)

                         -> OS/DB Abap link

The guide has a section for Distributed Installations) please ensure to thoroughly check adn follow the guide. (eg for NW 7.0 EHP2, Apab only, Oracle on Windows: section 2.2 covers dsitributed installations.

Paul
