I am Installing SAP Netweaver2004s on AIX box using MAXDB.

In database parameters ,

What is the physical partition size required for Raw device?

Hi

Whether you use the file system or raw devices, the installation tool prompts you for the name of the storage area for the SAP data.

For the SAP data, you need approximately the following amount of disk

space (these values allow for some data growth after installation):

Unicode: 16 GB

Non-unicode: 10 GB

The Database and SAP software together require about 2 GB in addition to the above values.

It is better to proceed more space than what suggested.
