Material Exclusion with Incoming IDOC's

Is it possible to use a material exclusion group with incoming EDI IDOC's.   I have created the exclusion and it works as expected when I manually create a sales order.  However in testing with incoming EDI requirements - it does not create the block.  Any ideas?

Hi

Try with enhancement VEDA0001. See the Note 753153 - FAQ: Customer-functions in IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS and guess with the proper exit (do checks, change the status of IDOC...). If I am right, EXIT_SAPLVEDA_011 is the last exit called. Populate DERRTAB with errors. In DXVBAP you have the items and MATNR. Try with FM 'PRODUCT_LIST_EXCLUSION' to be aware if the material is excluded.
