WBS not appearing in budget report S_ALR_87013558

Hi Experts,

We have 2 WBS elements & they are not budgeted. user is doing FI postings against them with negative values. One of the WBS is appearing in the budget report S_ALR_870133558 as shown below. The other WBS element has also similar values posted & has same parent WBS element as the other, status is also released, & operative indicator acct. assignment is marked as well. But still it is not appearing/linked in the report. Please let me know what could be the reason & how to get it in the report. User doesnt wants to assign any budget to it.

Hi Reshma,

Please check the following:

1) customizing for the value category, please make a correct value category customizing according to note 676123.

2) If this is a revenue element, revenue can't be displayed in S_ALR_87013558.

3) If you maintained some value category customizing after the postings were made transaction CJEN for the affected projects must be run in order to update RPSCO.

Hello Gordan,

I think you are right, the cost element showing for that particular transaction in CJI3 is a revenue element. where as in the other WBS elements there are some expenses cost elements & as well as revenue cost elements in CJI3, that is why it is appearing in budget report.

This report is executed independent on the budget, if the WBS has budget, actual or committed costs the report shows the WBS.

It is right that this WBS appears in the report, it is wrong that the other doesn't appear if you think it has the same actual costs.

Check report CJI3 for both projects, do you see both actual costs line items?

Hi Sara,

The other WBS element also belongs to the same project & is having having actual cost line items in the repprt CJI3, in fact the number of entries are more in this case, but still it is not appearing in the 558 report.

Could you check your authorizations? Execute the report and then go to SU53 to check if you have authorizations.

If it is not a problem with them check if information is right stored in table RPSCO, they should have the actual costs for both WBS.
