PO replication error

SRM 7.0 EHP2 - ECS - PPS activated

ERP 6.0 EHP5

Released PO from SRM is not being replicated to ERP due to following error:

E841(F6):"'Value BLANK/SPACE is invalid for accnt assignmt element "functional area"'

I've checked creating manual PO directly in ERP with same account assignment combination as in SRM and posted successfully.

Also checked document types and number ranges.

Any ideas/suggestions?

Hello Martin,

Please check Note 1648454 - Error F6 804 or F6 841 when creating production order It states similar issue for Production order where there is program error and it gave correction.

Thanks Ritesh, I'll take a look on that one.

Fortunately, I've solved the problem. I needed to add the GL account to the derivation strategy (though it's strange, because I was able to post manual PO directly in ERP with same account assignment).

Hi - error might be in BADI checking derivation strategy from SRM to ERP, please check out BADI BBP_DETERMINE_ACCT (or z-variant)
