GATP with CRM integration

Hi Experts,

  Q1.Please help me in understanding whether I can do a availibility check information while creating an oppurtunity  

        order in CRM .Is this possible in standard ?

  Q2. Do we put a Required Delivery date in an oppurtunity .. I know we put quantity ..

        My thinking is , in case we are imputing Quantity and date while creating an oppurtunity order in CRM then we can use BAPI_APOATP_CHECK to check

        availibility in APO through a custom exit.
