Browser not supported

Hello,

I installed SAP MFG Execution 6.0. When I want to start ME (http://hostname:50000/manufacturing) I get the following error message (German)

Error: Browser-Version wird von SAP ME nicht unterstützt

which means that the browser version is not supported by SAP ME.

I'm using Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 which should be supported related to the installation guide.

Anyone had the same problem? Any ideas what's wrong?

Hello Günter,

Let me kindly cite SAP Note # 1594439 :

Use Internet Explorer 9 with the compatibility mode turned on.

There is a known GUI issue with some SAP ME browses - they do not

load page style sheet properly if browser's compatibility mode is

turned off. This issue will be addressed in upcoming SAP ME 6.0

patches.

If it does not, please specify the exact OS you use. It must be according to PAM ( https://websmp107.sap-ag.de/pam ) specification: Win Vista 64bit or Win 7 32 bit.

Hi Alex,

thanks for your quick reply! That's it. With the compatibility modes it's working!

This was a new experience for me. The german note is completely different to the english version. So next time I will look to the english version.
