Hi
When trying to open an object (e.g. Comm Channel) in Integration Directory, the application hangs for about 10 minutes and then terminates with the following error message;
Attempt to access application REPOSITORY using HTTP Method Invocation (HMI) failed. Detailed information: Invoking ROA method "ReadObjects" via HMI ... FAILED due to
following exception: Message: Connection to system REPOSITORY using application REPOSITORY lost. Detailed information: Error receiving http response from URL
"http://<host>:<port>/rep/remoteobjectaccess/int?container=ejb"! Details: caught exception Message: Connection reset Stacktrace: java.net.SocketException.
The Enterprise Service Builder will not open at all, probably the reason for this error in ID.
I am also not able to open the Cache Connectivity Test in RWB (hangs), but RWB itself and monitoring functions are working fine.
INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI gives a 200 OK response and the response text/body is similar to other PI systems where things are ok.
There are many other threads in here dealing with a similar issue, but in almost all cases it is about authorizations.
I have checked all PI* users and passwords. They are all ok and not changed for the last year.
Anyone have any idea of what the issue may be? All help appreciated as it is currently jeopardizing an upgrade.
Thank you
regards Ole
Issue fixed by deleting locks from NWA and DB after discussion with SAP

Hi
Yes and no . We are in the middle of upgrading PI to 7.3 EHP1, but the final upgrade has not been done yet. We suspect that this problem arised after we did the first step a couple of weeks ago - update SPAM and prepare SUM upgrade tool - but we cannot see how these steps should cause this problem that we have.
We have upgraded our DEV and QA systems and they are ok. Our PRD system, where this issue arise, is as mentioned not yet upgraded fully.
regards Ole
