GRC 10:How to restrict the size of "initial password" sent by PSS???

Hi All,

Can any one tell me how I can set the size of initial password when a user resets his password using PSS? Do we have any parameter for that?

Hi Faisal,

You can define the password length restriction GEN_PSW_MAX_LENGTH

in PRGN_CUST.  If your support pack level is not SP8, please also

review SAP note 1666807.

I found this table both in GRC and R/3 back end system.

Do I need to maintain this table in R/3 back end system in SM30?

Please also suggest if this needs any restart.

These parameters should be maintained in backend/plug-in system. also as Nandita advised you should consider note 1666807..
