SE03 question - why can I not see my request?

Former Member

We have two requests which contain the same table. When I use SE03 to search for any requests including this table only one request is reported.

Both requests were created by the same user and both are released. When I search in SE03 I only look for this table, with the Released box ticked. I haven't applied any other search restrictions. The request which is reported has not been transported to our QA system (the one which is not reported has been transported) - but I would assume this is not relevant.

Can anyone explain why this might be happening?

Thanks, Chris

Just for more info - this is from a screen shot from SE01 for the user (29561) who created these requests (the tick to indicate that the request is released has been converted to an x). The table name is ZHTR_OCC_H_COSTS, the 2 requests are HRDK903765 and HRDK903642:

+--- HRDK903765 x 29561 Table ZHTR_OCC_H_COSTS

| +--- HRDK903766 x 29561 Development/Correction

| | +--- Table Definition

| | +-----ZHRT_OCC_H_COSTS

| +--- Object List of Request

| -- Comment Entry: Released

| +--- Table Definition

| +-----ZHRT_OCC_H_COSTS

+--- HRDK903642 x 29561 Keiron's workbench request

+--- HRDK903643 x 29561 Development/Correction

-- Program

+--- Table

+-----ZHRT_OCC_H_COSTS

+--- HRDK903685 x 32044 Development/Correction

+--- Table

+-----ZHRT_OCC_H_COSTS

Chris,

at the first request (HRDK903765) there is only the table definition of ZHRT_OCC_H_COSTS. The selection criteria for this object at SE03 is LIMU TABD
.

+--- HRDK903765 x 29561 Table ZHTR_OCC_H_COSTS

| +--- HRDK903766 x 29561 Development/Correction

| | +--- Table Definition

| | +-----ZHRT_OCC_H_COSTS

| +--- Object List of Request

| -- Comment Entry: Released

| +--- Table Definition

| +-----ZHRT_OCC_H_COSTS

The second request (HRDK903642) contains what you ask for: R3TR TABL ZHRT_OCC_H_COSTS, that is "Table" ZHRT_OCC_H_COSTS.

+--- HRDK903642 x 29561 Keiron's workbench request

|

+--- HRDK903643 x 29561 Development/Correction

| -- Program

| +--- Table

| +-----ZHRT_OCC_H_COSTS

|

+--- HRDK903685 x 32044 Development/Correction

| +--- Table

| +-----ZHRT_OCC_H_COSTS

|

+--- Object List of Request

|

-- Comment Entry: Released

-- Program

+--- Table

|

+-----ZHRT_OCC_H_COSTS

Hi Ruchit.

I'm not the owner of either request. The one which is displayed in SE03 is owned by user 29561 (our IDs are 5 digits long) & it contains two tasks, one owned by user 29561, the other owned by a different user (32044). The request which does not show is owned by 29561 & includes one task - also owned by 29561.

I've checked and both requests definitely include the table (I can see it under "Object List of Request" & under the individual tasks).

I've run it again selecting modifiable & I get the same results. I'm selecting in SE03 using these criteria:

R3TR TABL ZHRT_OCC_H_COSTS

Thanks for the reply - any advice gratefully received! Chris

Hi Chris,

The missing request.. are you both the request owner as welll as task owner of it. Also chechk once more if the request indeed has the table in it.

What pgmid and object are you using. Select modifiable as well.

Regards.
