Hi,

Check out the below site,

http://www.attunity.com/cics_adapter

The purpose of these adapters is to convert the COBOL Copy Book Format into XML format so thatit helps in integration with XI.

Hope this might be helpful.

Hi,

You can get the description of these adapters in

service.sap.com/XI --> SAP XI in Detail --> Connectivity --> Connectivity in 3.0 --> iWay

Of course, you need to have an OSS ID to access the above site..

Hope this is helpful..

I hope they might be used for Industry Standards such as CIDX or PIDX (for main frame) if you need to interace with cobol applications...i hope they are not infact the technical names/types (Mainframe/Transaction) for any adapters..maybe based on ur application ppl use these context

it is def something like the adapters u use like file, mail, soap, seeburger etc....these are the adpater types and based on the application we coin the terms....say seeburger as EDI adapter, File as FTP/NFS adapters etc
