Hi Experts,
I would like to establish a link between SD and PS. But when I click the SD/PS assignment indicator it gives the following error:
If you set the "SD/PS assignment" indicator, you must use a suitable project edit screen for the standard work breakdown structure. The screen is suitable if it contains at least two sections.
An edit screen is necessary to ensure that the numbers of the WBS elements can be uniquely generated from the sales document number (first section of the edit screen) and the sales document item (second section the edit screen).
I don't understand what I have to do. Please help.
Regards
Shiv Mandowara
Hi Shiv,
If you create a standard project X/0000000001 then you would be able to set SD/PS indicator:
So if you require to set the SD/PD indicator then you can either create standard projects starting
with Q, X, Y or Z as coding masks have been defined for projects beginning with these.
Or you have define new coding masks for projects starting with other alphabets.

Enrique

Hi Shiv,
Goto opsj and create a coding mask.

Hi Shiv,
The standard WBS you are using must have a coding mask as per format A-00XX etc. So that system can generate project no based on this coding mask and sales order number.
