Can we test cross period lot sizing in SNP standalone system?

Hello ,

I want to test Cross period lot sizing using SNP as a standalone system,

so can i work on it with out PDS and manually creating PPM , creating a setup operation ...?

Scenario I want to test is ; for production plan for a product at a location on a single line , for continuous time. Setup should only be considered once and and out put on the following days should increase to the setup time consumed during initial setup.

Instead currently setup time is consumed every day...

So is there a way of achieving this result with out PDS.

Hi,

I was able to test it successfully

while creating PPM manually provide Fixed consumption, it would be considered as setup time ,

after doing required setting in the resource for cross period lot sizing and in the optimizer profile

After doing all the above setting , there was only one step and in the next bucket there was no setup time taken in to account , the output of the resource was full to its capacity
