PI Integration with SAP PLM?

Hi Experts - Do you have materials or best practices around the integration with SAP PLM?

Do you know which input and output mechanism' are typically used, so IDoc or Proxy XML?

Hi All - Does anyone have experience with this integration of SAP PLM? Are there any other typical IDocs used on these scenarios for Formulations, Specifications and Material Master than SUBMAS?

Hi,

depends on what kind of objects you want/need to integrate

for many objects like WBS - standard IDOCs are available as well as BAPIs

but also many PLM related tools like CAD, solidworks, Catia have predefined integration

so you can also use that in some cases,

Hi Michal - We aim to exchange Formulations, Specifications and Material Master in/out to SAP PLM from an external non-SAP system. Can we SUBMAS IDoc be of use here? Is there a list available of the capabilities of SAP PLM? Mathias.
