ABAP Challenges during system consolidation.

Hi Expert,

We Consolidate four different SAP instances running on different versions like 4.6, 5.0 etc into 6.0 EHP4. This is required as the parent company has aquired other compines that were running on other SAP instances. My question is---

     1. What are the typical challenges face during migration of ABAP objects and interfaces into the new SAP instance running on ECC 6.0 EHP4 ?

     2. What is the standard procedure to identify the custom developed code that can be reused if the business function remain the same in certain scenario?

     3. How to take care of the different WRICEF objects developed in different instances and when the same needs to be moved to the new system ?

     4. Is there any suggestion regarding master data consolidation?
