Hi All,
Currently in one of our production server there is just one datafile.
Will adding another datfile in the same drive help in reducing swaps and improving performance.

The root cause of swapping is insufficient memory installed on server to fit all running processes. Therefore if you add another datafile this does not reduce swaps.
