will objects export from 7.0 to 7.3 will work???

Dear All,

As we have one system which is of 7.0 version.

Now we are building an another system version is 7.3 which is of same SID , same HOST name , logical system ID of 7.0 .. We are not going upgrading an old system we are creating a new system with same SID, HOST name etc..

WIll objects  Export from 7.0 to 7.3 system will work???

Dear all,

Here the SLD is not a problem because it is common SLD. the problem whether objects from integration repository and directory will come or not ??? if comes will it works fine or not???

Hi Vijay,

In this case just take a backup of all object and restore it on new system. The backup is without versioning. Please check following documnet:

Hi Vijay,

Your approach should work. In addition to what Michal mentioned, you also need to export and import PI related SLD content.

yes - most of them will work but you need to run regression testing as there were some changes to some functions - please have a look at the blogs too

(mapping functions, java proxies, adapter modules)
