STO Qty V/s OBD qty

Dear Exerts,

My users make the STO with 10 Nos Qty and they change the qty with 11 Nos in OBD how can I restrict the same.

They cannot be increase the qty to STO qty ( 10 Nos).

Do you mean to say, your PO quantity is only 10 but in delivery, users are increasing to 11 ??

run t-code 0VLP for your item category and set up 'B' in "Check overdelivery" field,

Also for your delivery document type,under order reference,keep item requirement as '201' so that system will not allow any new entries in the delivery.

yes Sir user change the qty in OBD and post also no message come for excess qty as STO cases....

This has been discussed many times in the forums like Materials Management and in Sales and Distribution in the past. In my own also I come across this requirement. By standard settings this can't be resolved. I checked various OSS notes also. So we ended up using user exit USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE in program MV50AFZ1. Discuss with an ABAP'er and provide details about the requirement. He/She can help with this.
