No Stock then No Delivery

Hi Forum,

We have a requirement where System should not allow User to create or Save Delivery VL01N,(Not PGI) If If No stock available for that material.

User also doesn't want to know/see how much stock remains or its position.

If no stock then no delivery should be created or Saved.(No PGI)

Note- We create Delivery wrt Order. .

How to achieve this? ATP check at Plant Level?

With the standard configuration, system will allow to save the delivery even if stock is not there.  Since your requirement is users should not even save the delivery, you try with delivery exit USEREXIT_SAVE_DOC_BEFORE_PREP (include MV50AFZ1)

In 0vlp, make sure "Check quantity 0" = 'B'. for your respective delivery item cat.

Hi Sri,

Please try some test in Availability check. If the material is not in the stock your Sales order Schedule line will not be confirmed so you can not create Delivery if the Schedule line is not confirmed.

Please put 02 in the Availability check field in the material master and do some checking.
