EDI to Mail Doubts in Development

Hi Gurus

I am working on a Scenario from File to Mail. I have imported the EDI and also the Mail XSD from SAP MArket place.

1)Can we directly send the EDI File with out mapping Transormation to mail(Customer) in readble format i.e word/text/pdf with out mapping, is it possible?(By_pAss Scenario)

2) Shld we develop mapping but there are large number of segments on the source EDI Side

please provide me some links if any for EDI to MAIL Scenario

To answer your first question -  You cannot do by pass for file to mail. You need to do mapping to convert your file data as mail content.  Please search SCN for EDI scenarios.
