Hi all,

When we create MII webservice the application will have default Port, operation names [ex: XacuteWSSOAP, XacuteWS, XacuteRequest...]

How can we change these to give a meaningful names.[ex: processOperation, getDetails...]

Can this be done or we will have to use default names.

Thanks,

The NetWeaver port dictates the http/https traffic, so yes the port is configurable, but not webservice specific.  As far as the names, I am unaware of any option to change these since they are controlled by the product code, not a specific transaction.

>> NetWeaver port dictates the http/https traffic, so yes the port is configurable -- Do you mean http/https port? I was referring to Ports, Operation, binding etc in WSDL.

Is there any way in MII or in WSDL to change XacuteWSSOAP, XacuteWS, XacuteRequest names and use in webservice call..

Thanks in advance..

I have never had a need to play with it but maybe some of Netweavers web service configuration options can give you some flexibility?
