SAP ME SDK download

Hello Experts,

I have some confusion arounf the ME SDK download.

if you refer to SAP Note 1613913, it clearly says

"

In order to obtain SAP ME SDK installation media you must schedule and
complete SDK training.  Customers and partners who have already completed the
training course will receive an email notification that includes instructions
for downloading the SDK and Build Tool installers.

See your SAP Client
Partner or Alliance Manager for more information about scheduling SDK
training."

Now if you refer the below link it allows one to download SDK

Can anyone please clear this confusion?

Just old version of SAP Note. We will update it.

Does that mean a formal training is now not required for aquiring SDK?

Is a training still recommended OR the documentation is good enough to get started?
