Dear all,
We are facing a problem while mapping calibration process in SAP PM.
For calibration of any test equipment, we have to carry out calibration in 4 stages, in which at each stage we will measure 4 different values, as mentioned below:
Out of these four values, only value after adjustment needs to be compared to a fix target value and error should be calculated as the difference between these two values in percentage.
Rest of the values are required for reporting purpose only.
For Example,
Equipment-Pressure gauge, range (0 to 16 kg/cm2)
Calibration | Measured value | Value Before Adjustment | Correction factor | Value After | Error |
Calibration on 4 kg/cm2 | 4 | 3.8 | 1 | 4 | 0 |
Calibration on 8 kg/cm2 | 8 | 7.9 | 1 | 8 | 0 |
Calibration on 12 kg/cm2 | 12 | 12 | 1 | 12.1 | 0.1 |
Calibration on 16 kg/cm2 | 16 | 16 | 1 | 16 | 0 |
We want to create only 4 MIC’s for each equipment in task list not more than that, and want to calculate error in % between after adjustment and target value only.
Rest of the sample values are only for calibration report.
Would request you all to please provide the best possible solution to map this requirement with minimum number of MICs.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
In my opinion, you have following two option:
1. Create a z-report where in you can calculate the error in % .
2. Use the BAdi (QE_SAVE), which is called at the time of saving of results wherein you can get an information about "error in %" for the MIC's and it can be stored in some z-table / standard table.

Sumit
