Hi Manoj,

can you provide more information?

Are there any error messages displayed on screen or in the trace files, e.g. dev_rfc* .

Also check the Gateway fields (try removing the current entries and leave blank)

Go to TCODE SMGW and check if an entry exists for your SM59 destination.

Hi,

It is not mandatory to create a connection in SM59 for communication from XI to R/3. You can choose the Message Protocol as "URL Address" and give the parameters directly in Communication channel.

Hi Manoj,

>>>but i am unable to remote login from r/3 to xi. This problem i am facing from so many days.

What? Could you describe your problem - resp. describe, where we can help you. If you cant logon remote, check the user at XI / TA SU01. For remote it should be dialog/service user, not system. And not blocked. Can you logon to SAP GUI with that user?

hi,

I can able to logon individually from xi and r/3. And also i can able to logon from XI to R/3 through remote logon i.e in SM59.

But while remote logon from R/3 to XI , its going to XI system but its displaying other user id i.e R/3 user ID.Actullay It has to disply XI user id and password what we mention in XI i.e in SM59.

I think u understand my problem. If not let me know.

Manoj,

If the user id and passwrod are corret when you try a Remote Login then you will not be asked to enter the user id and passwoird.

Also make sure that you have not selected "Current User" check box in under the Authorization tab in your RFC destination.

Hi Manoj,

in your conn from R/3 to XI, the conn type should be 3.....the user you specify in logon tab, by that user only you will get into XI through this conn......
