Batch Job Monitoring

Hi ,

We upgraded from Solman 7.0 to 7.1 recently and now setting this up for monitoring the landscape.

I had setup Batch job monitoring of other production systems using the solman 7.0 and it was working fine . But in 7.1 i could not find anywhere where i can configure the same for production systems.

If anyone has configured it and is working fine for them please let me know.

Which SP of 7.1 is the system in?

Starting from SP10, we can already setup ABAP job monitoring using technical monitoring. Without the need to create BPMons solutions.

have you tried it?

Hi Raghav,

We are on Solman 7.1 SP10 and we are performing Technical monitoring .

We have batch Job failure alert here but what I need is specific monitoring for JOBs where I can provide JOb names and alert if it fails.

Hi Devendra,

I would advise you, create a "Custom RFC metric" under template manintenance of Technical monitoing,

Work Center => SAP Solution Manager:configuration=> Technical moniring=> Template Maintenance
