Hi,
i am connecting the SAP XI Server on Remote Machine using some URL it is working fine till last week now it is showing error saying
You have requested an application that is currently stopped.
i came to know this is because the J2EE Engine on Remote Machine is not running Properly and it should be restarted. there is no SAP GUI installed on either this remote machine and on my machine. is there any way i can restart this J2EE Engine manually. By connecting this remote machine through RDC. Thanks in advance.
Thanks

you can connect by telnet to port 5<SYSnumber>08
for example
open xiserverhostname 50008
and restart it from there

Hi,
if you have Admin Access, then you can log on to the SLD and from there you can restart your J2EE engine.
