SAP SNC CIF Material master

We have created classification data for material in ECC.  The classification data was CIFed to SCM system and along with it the characteristic values of materials were also transferred to SCM system.  However, when we changed the classification data using MM02 in ECC and again tried to CIF the material, the changed classification data is not getting updated in the product master in SCM.  tHE CLASS Type being used is 001.  Need input on what could be the missing thing because of which material classification changes are not being transferred when I CIF them.

Just to elaborate -  The issue is that first time the material classification data with characteristic values are successfully transferred.  But changes to the characteristic values are not getting transferred on trying to CIF the material.

Can you send material change via transaction code:CFP1 and check.

Hi Nistabdh, How are you ? Have you confirmed the classes you entered in the material master are already transaferred/ created in SCM , before you do the change transafer of the material.

Hi Nistabdha - Just adding to Nikhil, try to de-act and re-act the material in question and that might help.
