SSCC number range by sales organisation

Hi,

The customer I work with want to use SSCC number by Sales Organisation.

So they have 3 sales org. with 1 plant - so they use Inter Company.

Is it possible to give each Sales Organisation there one SSCC numbers range?

They use all the same plant

HI,

Yes this is a Business requirement.

Reason is that they want to know which Box/container is coming from which sales organization.

Also for track and trace they need different SSCC for each sales organization.

At this point the customer don't know yet that all their orders come from one Plant.

At this moment there are 3 sales organization with their own plant, but in a few months the situation will be 3 sales org. with 1 plant

Sorry for the lack of information

Yes, SSCC is the Serial Shipping Container Code.

They are not using third party integration.

They send this SSCC code to the carrier by EDI, but they want to see which SSCC code is coming from which sales organisation.

When I look into customizing I can not find the possibilities to create number range for Sales organisation, only plant level.

Hi Debby,

if SSCC stands for Serial shipping container code.As The SSCC is commonly used in the advance ship notice (ASN).

Plz let us know that you are using any third party integration with SAP or not.

Also mention the things in details so that Members will revert back to you with proper inputs.
