Hello,
I have to roll out the SAP Gui on a terminal Server (win 2008 R2).
The user should use his local drives to save exports for example.
Therefore I set the SAPWorkdir to "\\tsclient\c\SAPtest" in the regedit.
In the Export (to local file) window (F9) I can correctly browse the local drive, but when I want to generate a File I get a message "Access to file denied" in the status bar (unconverted export) and a information splash "Error Saving the List in Local File".
Everyone has permissions on the folder, I think there is not the problem.
When I map It as a network drive with a letter, then I get a "SAP-GUI-Security" note, if I want to give the rights to change the rights to write to the dircetories.
When I click "Allow" then it writes correctly.
So is there a possibility to give the rights, that I don't have to connect the drive with a letter? I've not the possibility to do that.
Perhaps SAP is not allowed to write to UNC-Pathes? Is there a best practice for that?
Many thanks
Regards
